A blanket reduction to the chance would be lovely, but if that isn't palatable to people a more expensive option with more bad-luck protection would also work. I'd say a 'no duplicate' option but that would have to be really, really expensive and would put even more demand on the waivers. Now that they're only in the chance machine that doesn't seem wise. Though right now the chance of using a waiver and getting a duplicate is a painful and unappealing prospect, so perhaps. Would be nice if it went hand in hand with at least a small reduction for regular/non CSC options.

There are so many of them and with them only being official skins for a while now, trying to catch up even some really kinda stinks. Especially if you can't be on to zap on CD/don't want to blow a ton of money to gamble on waivers.

Ugh, tell me about it. In all my zapps I've gotten only one new skin. Last year mentioned they were considering an expensive token and sP option to re-calibrate the Zapper for an increased chance at a specific desired skin. There was some whining as to why it should be expensive, but overall the idea was well received. I for one was really hoping to see it implemented, but it seems to have been forgotten.

I wouldn't mind paying extra for a higher chance of getting one I don't have.

I do recall last year someone on staff mentioning that this would defeat the purpose of the zapper and I agree. We aren't supposed to collect them all in one year, but with over 100 possible zaps per Morostide, it's already fairly doable. I unlocked 35 unique ones last year alone. And already unlocked six more this year, with only eight left to go. It's only the third day of Morostide. If you're persistent and keep up with your zap times, I don't see why anyone shouldn't be able to collect them all in due time.

I'd also be willing to pay more to get one that I don't have yet, or at least a higher chance at it if possible c:

I've been zapping non-stop and I haven't gotten anything new. So yes, I wouldn't mind something to be done ha ha.

I have 25KWT in my pocket that I have saved instead of selling because of what staff said about making it so you could get what you wanted. I'd happily pay 1KWT per unique zap, myself.

That said, I have a lot of the skins already and don't use most of them so I don't mind playing the random game. My odds of getting ones I want are not great, but it doesn't cost me much either.

Does anyone remember when HA zapping first came out, and we had to use special concoctions to remove unwanted skins? Each skin is part of a set, which required a specific concoction to cure it.

What if we could pay to guarantee getting a skin from a particular set, similar to how we can pay to guarantee an Experiment zap for our pets? That way, if you're looking for a particular skin, you can narrow it down to the set it belong to.

I think this is a great idea for people who want/need it. Some players have busy real lives so can't get on every three hours to visit the zapper. This reduces their chances of getting new skins.

I thought about offering up a similar idea, but with several recent years only having 3 or so the cost weights might have to be pretty extreme.. though they have done at least close to that w/zombie skins.

Good point. Costs might have to be vary from set to set, depending on how many skins are in it. More skins sure isn't a bad thing though! The fee could always be adjusted if a set gets added to.

And this is little (hence I'm not gonna make it it's own thread) but a way to add an alert after clicking away from the 'results' page would be lovely. I always hurry off to the wardrobe and forget. Back works if you remember, but still remembering :p

I know we're not meant to get all of them in one year, but I've been doing this for at least 4 years now and I'm still missing around 10 skins because I get a lot of duplicates.

I don't want a way to get to choose which skin you get, that would be too easy. But some sort of paying extra for a higher chance of getting a skin that I don't already have, I would be willing to do that.

[edit]Also as a way to to make it still be somewhat difficult to collect all of them, there could be an increased wait time or something if you use the paying extra method. Just an idea.

I would totally pay a premium to stop getting so many repeats.

I still need so many skins, and the fact that I'm getting so many repeats is disheartening. I was seriously considering making a P&B board to double check they were all activated and working until I finally got a zap with one I didn't have.

I would gladly pay to have like a 75% chance at getting a skin I didn't already own. Or even if they had it where you could select a specific skin for a crazy amount, but with limitations, like maybe you can only choose two per year, and the rest you have to zap for. Literally anything other than constant repeats.

I was very excited about zapping this year considering I need 15-16 more skins and I wanted to work on collecting them. I've zapped every chance since it came available and I've gotten one new skin. The rest have all been duplicates. This is incredibly frustrating and is really eating all the fun of this particular part of the event. It'd be nice if we even just got two or three days with a higher chance at missing skins. Something =/

Something to help increase the chance of getting 'skins-u-like' would be a lovely thing.
